Austin, TX to Timshell Farm
Austin, TX to Waco, TX, to Corsicana
Take I-35 north to 6-340 Loop, go right on Loop for 5-6 miles, to Valero Station (on the right). Take a right, and stay left at the fork to Highway 31/Hubbard. Continue on Highway 31 to Corsicana.
Corsicana, TX to Timshell Farm (909 SE County Road 2240, Corsicana, TX 75109)
Head northeast on W 7th Ave/TX-31 toward S Beaton St - 0.3 mi. Turn right at S Business US-45/S I-45-BL S - 0.7 mi. Continue on US-287 S (signs for 287 S) - 11.6 mi. Pass Russell Stover Candy Factory, drive through town of Mildred, and you will see churches, school on the left, keep going to Eureka. Watch for CR 2240. Turn right on CR 2240. On the corner (on the right) where you turn there is a tan house with a sign that says "Gene Thomas Realty" in the front. There on the corner there is a sign that says "Eureka Cemetery" and you turn right. Go just nine-tenths of one mile on CR 2240 and we are the driveway on the left. We have a red, ranch gate with the numbers 909 on the gate post. This is our driveway - turn left and come up the driveway.
If it has been raining, please do park your vehicle just off the road, and walk up the driveway to the house. Up the driveway past the pecan tree orchard, you will see a tall, brown wood house with a white office building with butterflies on the front.
Landmarks to watch for:
Corner of HWY 287 South and CR 2240, on the left side of the corner there is a white, metal building "The Old Aggie General Store" with gas pumps outside. On the right side of the street corner (where you turn right) there is a tan house with a sign that says "Gene Thomas Realty" and this is where you turn right. There is also a sign on that corner that says "Eureka Cemetary".
Turn RIGHT on CR 2240 and go nine-tenths of a mile and our driveway is on the left. You will see the numbers "909" on the gate post and there is a red ranch gate. Turn left and come up the driveway past the pecan tree orchard, to the tall, brown wood house. Dallas, TX to Timshell Farm
1. South of Dallas about 60 miles, on I-45, just outside of Corsicana, take the exit that says "Highway 287 South: Palestine" and go down the exit ramp and then turn left back under the freeway. You are now on Highway 287.
2. Travel about 10 miles on this road. On the way, you will pass a Sonic, Guardian Glass, and on your right you will see the Russell Stover Candy Factory (they have a discount store that is great!) and you will come to a little town called Mildred. It has a couple of churches and school.
3. Then you will see a town sign that says EUREKA. It is just houses by the side of the road.
Watch for County Road 2240.
4. Turn right on CR 2240. On the corner (on the right) where you turn there is a tan house with a sign that says "Gene Thomas Realty" in the front. There on the corner there is a sign that says "Eureka Cemetery" and you turn right.

1. Head northeast on Bagby St toward Walker St - 161 ft
2. Turn left at Walker St - 230 ft
3. Take the ramp on the left onto I-45 N - 177 mi
4. Take exit 225 toward FM-739/Mustang/Angus - 0.1 mi
5. Merge onto I-45 N - 0.2 mi
6. Turn right at FM-739 - 446 ft
7. Turn left to stay on FM-739 - 2.6 mi
8. Turn right at US-287 - 7.1 mi
9. Turn right at SE County Rd 2240 - 1.6 mi. On the corner (on the right) where you turn there is a tan house with a sign that says "Gene Thomas Realty" in the front. There on the corner there is a sign that says "Eureka Cemetery" and you turn right.
