Hi Linda, I wanted to let you know Max is doing great! I can't believe how well the transition went. He is doing great at night, we haven't had any problems with him whimpering all night so that's been really nice.

He went to the vet on Monday just to get checked out and he weighed in at six pounds and they said everything looked really good. The vet commented on how calm and well behaved he was during the exam(I felt like a proud mom).He is going back in a few weeks for his next immunization.

He has only had a few accidents inside and yesterday he even went and sat at the back door till I let him out and he went right out and went to the bathroom. It may have just been a coincidence but I choose to believe it's because he's brilliant!

He is blending into our family so well and we are all so glad he is here. I don't think any of us realized how ready we were to have another dog until we met Max, his is truly a doll and I can't say thank you enough. I have attached a few photos, hope you enjoy, and I'll send you more later.

Subject: Max Update

Hi Linda,

Sorry it has taken me so long to send you an update on Max, things have been a little hectic around here we are in the process of selling our house. Max is growing like a weed, he went for his final puppy check a couple of weeks ago and weighed in at almost fifteen pounds! He does great during his visits to the vet and never even flinches when she gives him his shots.

He is totally potty trained and will usually go to the back door and start messing with the blinds on it to let me know he is ready to go out. The kids absolutely love him and I'll have to admit he is a Momma's boy, he follows me around from room to room and doesn't let me stay out of his sight for too long.

He always gets alot of attention when other people are around and everybody always asks what kind of dog he is. He is very energetic and playful and he has a very funny and entertaining personality. He is very sneaky about tearing toilet paper off the roll and then hiding with it and my kids' stuffed animals are attacked on a daily basis, there is never a dull moment with him but we are absolutely enjoying him.

Hope all is well and I will send you another update soon.

Stefanie
