Subject: Rookie update
Just wanted to give you an update on Rookie, our petite goldendoodle, that you sent to us in March 2006. He is doing wonderful! The boys absolutely adore him, carry him, pick him up, wrap him in blankets etc...its their own little brother!
He is so smart its scary! He tips his bowl over when he's thirsty, knows how to sit, lay down, stay, give kisses on command. We are having some trouble with the heel command and Rookie is still taking us for walks. Speaking of outside, he is true boy! Roll saround in any dirt he can find and just has a ball. I think he may be warm here in Florida. I had him groomed but didn't want them to cut too much of his gorgeous fur, so I think he is a bit warm.
Loves ice cubes....everytime he hears us getting ice from the fridge he comes running. He loves the car! We nick named him "Rook the crook" because he sneaks in the laundry room while I am folding clothes, grabs something out of the dryer and bolts! He does the same thing in the boys room with their stuffed animals...he'll run in grab one and bolt as fast as he can. He loves his bath and blow dry every week...he takes a shower with his dad and then mommy blow dries him. Anyway, I just wanted to update you and Thank you for such a gift!
Rookie is the rookie in our family,,,he is boy number 4!
