Subject: Update on Scout

Hi Linda:

We want to check in and let you know how well Scout is doing. He is now 4 1/2 months old and weighs 30 pounds. He is definitely the life of the party, but is as sweet and lovable as any dog I have ever known. He is now starting to loose his puppy teeth so he loves to chew on his toys and especially his rawhide bones.

So far he has shown no interest in the furniture, thank goodness. House training was fairly easy although every once in a while he might let a little bit slip out when he is excited. He has just about grown out of that though. He has become quite popular in the neighborhood. He seems to make new friends every morning while on our walk and often draws a crowd at school. He could not be happier and neither could we. I have attached a couple of recent pictures. I will send more as he grows.
