Hi Linda,
I wanted to send this photo of Rudy Rags Rudzin. There are no words that adequately describe him. Rudy’s brother is loved, happy and sees his brother every day. The cold here has not stopped us from getting them together. Literally we make them run and fetch every day. Was a cold winter, but we did it. When not able to be at park or beach the play date continues in my home. As you can see from this photo he has kept his wonderful red coat and is beyond handsome and a beautiful red thick coat. He is a winner in every way. Thank you for breeding an amazing, amazing dog. He is pure joy. My life is complete with him.
Auggie and Rudy, Brothers! |
Hi Linda & Steve,
After the summer we will think about taking on a second. But for now life with Rudy is priceless. One last thing I am stopped constantly. It's crazy. Was in New York visiting my daughter, Paige, and I could not make it up the block, so many people stopped to meet Rudy.
Life before Rudy. Was there one? Linda, he is incredibly intelligent. Calling him smart does not do him justice. Never did I expect to have a little puppy play like the big man on campus. He has all the basics down, including a double roll over. He retrieves his chuck it ball and we are hard at work learning to jump rope. I'm not kidding. What a joy. My daughter Paige can't get over how beautiful he is. My husband can't believe that he can play and enjoy him like a big dog.
He has beach play dates with his brother Auggie often. I think in his past life he was a marathon runner. We are all in awe of this little red creature. Rudy enjoys daily morning massages before he starts his day. I expected to love this little boy, but I love him so much more and it seems that he loves us just as much. Thank you, thank you for taking such good care of him. He arrived happy and nothing has changed. Keep doing what you’re doing.

MORE UPDATES AND PHOTOS…… July 2014
Hi Linda,
Hope all is well and that all your dogs are as loved as my little lion. Rudy turned 2 as you know, and he can't be more love. I can't stop looking at him. He is absolutely beautiful and sometimes takes my breath away. I'm no crazy dog person. But he really is that beautiful.. he has the best of all three breeds and we are mad for him.
He loves the beach, sand, water in the summer and loves the parks and snow in the fall/winter. But his two favorite activities are swimming and playing Frisbee. It took a few weeks working with him to convert from tennis ball to frisbee catching, but he got it and to watch this small red dog fly through the air with such athletic skill is pure joy.
He is lean and weighs under 13 pounds. He plays really hard and by 8:00 p.m., he is finished for the night and just wants to cuddle. Our “little lion” as we call him, is the perfect size for our/my active life style. In the summer he fits into my bike basket when I'm doing errands. He fits into a roller bag when I need to take train into the city. He is well known everywhere - at the beach, at the nail salon, at my favorite boutiques, at the post office. He is so well behaved that he is welcomed at all our friends’ homes. I'm a firm believer that if you put the time in when they are young, in return you have a well-behaved, happy dog. Rudy was trained with love and rarely a serious tone. He just got it. Well, he is ringing his bell to tell me he has to do his business outdoors, so good bye for now. I'm glad you liked the photos.
I was raised with dogs all my life. I have never had a dog like Rudy. It's truly a once in a life time experience and he has enriched our/my life.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Chiara
