These days there are some wonderful crossbreed puppies! There are reasons and advantages for the crossing of two purebred dogs. The resulting offspring should have improved health wonderful traits from both parent dogs. The result of the crossbreed should be a healthy, happy and confident puppy that will be a great companion for many years.
A Timshell Farm Petite Golden Retriever is like a miniature Golden Retriever - one that sheds much less, with a pretty, wide face and large, round eyes. The Comforts have longer ears with silky curls! They’re lots of fun and do very well with obedience training.
Our Petite Golden Retriever puppies have purebred Golden Retriever mothers. Our sire is Jackson, a wonderful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Infusing the qualities of our quality-bred Golden Retrievers and Cavalier produces happy, healthy and loving puppies. The Petite Golden Retrievers are playful, athletic, and lots of fun!
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an active, graceful, well-balanced spaniel, very gay and free in action; fearless and sporting in character, yet at the same time gentle and affectionate. It is this typical gay temperament, combined with true elegance and royal appearance that make the Cavaliers so special.
Information about our Golden Retriever mothers can be found HERE. Our AKC Golden Retriever mothers are free from genetic faults, beautiful conformation and perfect temperaments!

OK, you’ve learned about Petite Golden Retrievers being 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Spaniel, a very specialized breeding to combine the desirable traits of both breeds into a delightful crossbreed.. Now, what is a “Petite Golden Retriever Crossback” or F1-b?
Many specialty crossbreed kennels breed for crossbacks. The initial crossbreed dog (such as a Petite Golden Retriever) is bred back to one of the (unrelated) purebred parent breeds. For our Petite Golden Retriever F1-b puppies, we breed a Petite Golden Retriever female (50% Golden Retriever and 50% Cocker Spaniel) to our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
The Petite Golden Retriever F1-b puppies will grow to be about 25-30 lbs. and have the same, wonderful traits in a smaller package!
Their coats will be low to medium shedding. Personalities are friendly, confident and fun. These dogs love humans of all ages and other animals.

Puppies can only be as good as their parent dogs and bloodline. Our puppies are bred ONLY from parent dogs that have great temperaments, sound health, are very intelligent and of course, beautiful. Your Timshell Farm puppy will have been “socialized” when you take it home with you. We bottle feed the puppies for extra nutrition (and to keep the moms from becoming depleted) and this makes them LOVE humans from day one! The puppies have daily, hands-on play and attention from us, children of different ages, other adults and play with other litters of puppies and adult dogs, so that they are confident and happy puppies used to a wide variety of things. Your Timshell Farm Petite Golden Retriever puppy will have first puppy immunization, thorough deworming treatments, a tick/flea preventative and we will pay $35 towards a microchip when it is implanted at a later date.
All of our puppies carry a two-year guarantee against all genetic illness. We rebate back $75 when you send us your receipt for having three in-home, obedience training sessions.
Both male and female puppies are equal in terms of temperament and with neutering/spaying by age 5-6 months, sex-related behaviors are minimized or eliminated.
